@cheapgeek1 while I’m looking at picking up this Vista or the Venture, there is a great app for the Android phones called c:geo that makes the GPS a lot more usable for geocaching. It’s still no replacement for a dedicated GPS unit, but we have had complete success with the app so far.

I still find it amazing that this is now so much easier with an iPhone, I can do a search for nearby caches, log visits, add pics, all directly from my phone. Of course I still bring a gps, for where there is no cell signal.

Interesting that you don’t demonstrate the compass navigation screen for geocaching, Many geocachers consider it to be the key tool on a unit for geocaching. It makes it so much easier. Follow the arrow and watch the distance count down.

@BadMuffler You should shut the fuck up and stop telling me what to do. I can talk all I want, and if you don’t like it then press ALT+F4

@xlr8rzz stop whining You should be so lucky to get such an expensive gift. What’s wrong you don’t like going outside? be happy you have parents or a roof over your head … go do your damn chores without being asked while you’re at it .
